Annmarie George

Annmarie George is the official program note writer for the Erie Chamber Orchestra. She is an Associate Professor of Music at Gannon University and has served as Chair of the Fine Arts Department as well as director of many other programs at the university.
Mrs. George's undergraduate degree is from Daemen College
and her Master of Music Education from S.U.N.Y. at Fredonia with doctorate
studies at Case Western Reserve University. She was one of 28 American
ambassadors to be in the FIRST group of music educators to travel to China
in 1988 and published an article regarding this event in the January 1990
issure of the PMEA Journal. During her tenure at the university, she has
published several articles, serves on publishing review boards, served
on several committees and boards at the university, locally, and nationally,
and is in the process of completing her own text.
